Item Title
C-34 Renew the Department of Children and Families (DCF) contract to be served by the Multiagency Network for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Students (SEDNET) Grant for July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008.
Issue/Rationale
The SEDNET Grant serves Clay, Baker, Nassau, Duval, and St. Johns counties. Children and Families will provide funding for parent and professional training, data collection, coordination, etc. for the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
The contract provides extra services to emotionally disturbed children and children at risk of serious emotional problems.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
Department of Children and Families will provide additional state funds to the SEDNET Project. There is no cost to the School District of Clay County.
